The Project Steering Committee (PSC)
The Project Steering Committee is composed of a Council Member of CSIR, Director General of CSIR, Commercial Director of CSIR, representatives from Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI). The PSC plays advisory role and is also responsible for the management of the TDTC Competitive Grant Scheme.

Project Management Team
The Director General of CSIR, the Commercial Director of CSIR and the Director of CSIR-STEPRI constitute the project management team. The project technical team consists of Director General- CSIR, Director CSIR-STEPRI and the three project officers including the Industrial Liaison/ Marketing officer, Technology Development & Transfer officer and Policy Planning & Resource Mobilization officer. The Project Management team is led by the Director General of the CSIR. He is the Contact Person for the project and the interface between the project and the donors.

Project Coordinator (Dr. G.O. Essegbey, Director CSIR-STEPRI)
The project is coordinated by the Director of CSIR-STEPRI where the TDTC is housed. He is responsible for the following:
  • Ensures that the project steering committee, technical team and TDTC  properly function;
  • Final review of all  project reports;
  • Authorizes access to project accounts;
  • Liaises with DG in the implementation of the project.

Industrial Liaison/ Marketing officer

  • Liaises with other agencies, organizations and industry partners;  
  • Liaises with focal persons in the selected institutes;
  • Assists with the organization of  training workshops;
  • Supervises TDTC Website management;
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator.

Technology Development & Transfer officer
  • Schedules and covers review meetings;
  • Organizes periodic meetings with industry partners;
  • Ensures preparation of reports for review by Project Coordinator;
  • Organizes platforms for researchers and industry to meet and exchange ideas; and
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator

Project Accountant (Finance Director-CSIR)
The Project Accountant will handle the disbursement arrangement and financial request from project staff. He is responsible for the following:
  • Project accounts for the COTVET project;
  • Procurement and disbursement;
  • Ensures transparency and accountability in the use of the COTVET project funds;
  • Maintains project-related records, including contracts and change orders;
  • Reports to management regarding project funding;
  • Compiles information for internal and external auditors as per donor requirements;
  • Performs any other functions assigned by the Project Coordinator.

Office Manager
The office manager plays a supportive role.  She is mainly responsible for day to day running of the TDTC office. She assists the Project Coordinator and specifically works under the directives of the three project officers including the Industrial Liaison/ Marketing officer, Technology Development & Transfer officer and Policy Planning & Resource Mobilization officer.
The Office Manager is responsible for the following:
  • All secretarial duties at the TDTC;
  • Effective arrangement for project meetings;
  • Effective documentation, maintenance and safe- keeping of office equipment and materials;
  • Management of  all project-related correspondences;
  • Serves as an interface between individual focal persons and the three project officers; and
  • Undertakes any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator

Each participating CSIR institute has a focal person responsible for the following:

  • Supervision of  TDTC project activities at the institute level;
  • Dissemination of project information to researchers ;
  • Liaises with the project officers on  TDTC project implementation activities; and
  • Attends project review meetings.
